Golden Freddy became aware of a romantic relationship that was developing between Foxy and his replacement Mangle, and immediately ordered Chica to destroy his new love interest to ensure he remained loyal, but his initial plan was foiled and the lovers escaped. Once his new servants returned and reported their failure, Golden Freddy punished Freddy by tearing out his eye, and teleported away. Golden Freddy lied and claimed that the Marionette had willingly allowed them to be replaced, and therefore sent them to attack the new Toys, but was not present for the fight itself. After some time, he approached the Marionette and asked his former friend to form an alliance to depose of the new Toys and restore the original Animatronics to the stage, but after hearing his refusal and learning that he in fact was the one who gave them life, he angrily went to the original Animatronics and revived them with his powers, while also placing partial Mind control over them. Enraged that the Animatronics still hadn’t been replaced yet, he sabotaged them to ensure their replacement, convinced that the company would repair him and his brother and return them to the stage, only to see that instead, they built the Toy Animatronics instead. Sometime afterwards, Golden Freddy witnessed his brother Springbonnie being dismantled, and he fully gave into his anger, killing the employee that was working on him.Įventually, Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza I was closed down and all the animatronics were moved to the brand new Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza II, using his powers, Golden Freddy revived Springbonnie as a ghost and the two continue to plot their revenge. upon seeing that the Marionette had given their replacements life and that he was still performing, Fredbear and Springbonnie swore revenge, and he renamed himself “Golden Freddy”. One of the four souls possessed Fredbear and gave him the powers of Teleportation and Telekinesis among others.Īfter being given life, Fredbear and Springbonnie continued to perform until the closure of the restaurant, all three of the Animatronics were moved to the newly opened Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, with Fredbear and Springbonnie were stored away in the Parts & Service. The incident was covered up from the rest of the world, but the Technician’s soul survived and he became the creature called Nightmare, when Nightmare attempted to use his new powers to give himself a physical body, he instead destroyed his spectral form and split his soul into four parts. One night, a vengeful Technician used and reprogrammed Fredbear to attack and kill the Nightguard, but he turned on the Technician and killed him instead. Initially he was a soulless robot that performed at Fredbear’s family diner alongside his brother and Marionette.
Fredbear was part of the First Generation of Animatronics developed by Fazbear Entertainment, he was created alongside his brother Springbonnie in the same factory of the same parts, thus creating a brotherly bond between the two.
